About Us

Hi! I'm Julie, the owner of Porchlamp Property Management. Before I was a property manager, I was an investor. I am passionate about real estate and it’s wealth building potential, but didn’t always want to be hands on. My expectations of a property manager was that the home would be maintained, vacancy would be kept to a minimum, and that I would be kept generally up to date. This was not happening to the level that I wanted to see and so I began self managing and that is when I discovered two things: I am very good at it, and I really love it!

I love interacting with tenants, I love solving their problems and making sure everything with their stay goes smoothly from move in to repairs to move out. I love working with owners and helping them increase their income and net worth by always treating their property as if it was my own.

In my life before real estate, I was a CPA. I have taken this background in numbers and business and applied it to our systems and am constantly striving to make the experience of both tenant and owner better and better all the time.
